A compact electronic drum kit fits a bedroom only if it leaves enough space for the player, pedals, stick movement, and an unobstructed route through the room. The rack's advertised width and depth are not the whole footprint. Measure the playing setup and the stored setup separately, then decide which compromises still support the kind of drumming you want to learn.

Measure the Room with the Seat Occupied

Start with the space that must remain available: the door's full opening, access to the bed, wardrobe drawers, and any normal route out of the room. Do not count a blocked walkway as usable drum space just because the rack can physically stand there.

Position a suitable seat and place your feet where the kick and hi-hat pedals would be. Without striking furniture, slowly imitate the intended playing motions. Notice the room behind your elbows, the space between your knees, and the forward distance needed for the pedals.
